HOW TO AVOID CONTENT REJECTION?
Be practical, and when you work as per rules, and terms, there is no scope for rejection of your content.
With scores of clients in Hyderabad, I have put in place 4 safeguards against any possible content rejection by the client.
Here are the key points for avoiding content rejection and ensuring successful client engagement.
Showcase:
Impress prospective clients by showcasing your best content work.
Share your Business Label, LinkedIn page, Blog page, and client-content works to create a positive first impression.
Collect:
Gather all necessary inputs from the client on the first day.
Obtain websites, brochures, flyers, emailers, case studies, voice-recordings, and other marketing materials.
Understand the client's business competitors and develop content around specific keywords.
One-Point-of-Contact:
During client negotiations, ask for One-Point-of-Contact at the Client's end. You can deal with one person effectively, and not many people at a time. They can discuss internally, and keep you updated through that One-Point-of-Contact.
CDLC:
Adhere and uphold the Steps given at Content Development Life Cycle (CDLC).
3+3 Condition:
Offer the client the opportunity to suggest up to 3 changes within 3 days of content delivery.
Optionally, allow a maximum of 7 days for the client to propose 3 changes to the content.
No-Refund Policy:
Clearly state that advance payment is required.
Maintain a strict no-refund policy to ensure a high level of commitment from each client engagement.
