My Journey: Content Development phases from 1990 to present.

The Evolution of Online Content Development: A Personal Journey.

1990s: The Era of Copywriting

In the early days, my work was crafted alongside artists whose tools were brushes and paint, bringing words to life in ways that felt almost artisanal. Copywriting was all about capturing a story in a single glance. My first ad copy featured Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe then.

2000s: Content Writing Emerges

With the rise of the Internet, I joined forces with graphic and web designers, transforming static screens into vibrant, responsive websites. Content had to evolve; it needed to captivate, inform, and stand the test of countless clicks. My first content was for Giftagift.com, India's first gifting portal for NRIs.

2004: The Social Media Surge

As social media took the world by storm, I opened my first Facebook account and stepped into a whole new realm of connection and communication. Suddenly, content was everywhere—and everyone was a creator.

2012: Instructional Design Revolution

By 2012, I was part of dedicated teams of instructional designers and subject matter experts, building e-learning programs that made knowledge accessible worldwide. Content now had purpose beyond engagement; it became a means for structured, meaningful education. This phase saw the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and complete transformation from classroom based teaching to online mentoring via Skype, and VSee web conferencing tools.

2022: The Age of Prompt Engineering

In recent years, my associates and I pioneered prompt engineering, blending creativity with AI to generate intelligent content with precision. It’s a space where art meets tech—a fitting culmination of the journey that began with a copy writing in collaboration with artists working with a brush and canvas.

Network is Net Worth:

The strength of my professional journey has always been rooted in the invaluable network of like-minded, driven colleagues and friends. With their unwavering support, I was able to ascend to new career heights in media, marketing, and branding. Early on, my collaborations with web designers connected me with industry icons like Yepuri Srinivas, Raghava Rao Gara, Ravinder Ramagiri, and more recently, Shravan Kumar. These strategic collaborations brought new perspectives and broadened my reach. In content, media, and branding, it was visionaries like Srinivas Allamudi, Chintamani, and Venugopal who propelled me up the professional ladder. Their belief in my writing and editing abilities—and their trust that I would consistently deliver quality content on time—was the key to my growth. Their recommendations came with a reputation to uphold, and I’m proud to say I never let them down. Above all, a special acknowledgment goes to my steadfast Associate Vaishali, who weathered challenging times with a resilient spirit and tireless dedication. Her commitment not only brought in clients and students to RISECO but also anchored us through it all. Every success I've had in content, media, and branding is a shared accomplishment, reflecting the influence and inspiration of these remarkable people.

Two takeaways:

First, understand that everything is within you. If you are happy with yourself, the whole world looks happy and joyful. If you are sad, the whole world looks sad and morbid. You yourself can identify your interests and choices. Second, Do What You Love. Love What You Do. Start where your heart and passion lie, and you’ll find yourself on a rewarding, ever-evolving career path, and emotionally satisfying life.
